It has just been announced that Dan Salcedo, senior coach with thetrilife.com team of coaches, will be running the Children’s Transition Training Sessions at Hever Castle on Sunday the 7th of September.
This is a major coup for the junior triathletes as Dan has a world class coaching history, having been Head Coach at the 2008 Olympic Games, as well as leading winning teams at World and European Championships. His personal coaching results at Elite level include: 2 Olympians, 2 World Champions, 5 European Champions and over 10 National Champions.
Dan himself began competing in triathlons in 1987 and coaching triathletes in 1989. He has coached athletes of all ages and abilities from all over the world. The children that attend the Hever Castle training sessions will benefit greatly from Dan’s experience and training techniques.
On the day, junior athletes can take part in the Transition Sessions, the Open Water Swim Sessions led by Level 3 coach Duncan Scott, or they can choose to sign up for both sessions.

These sessions are great confidence builders for junior triathletes, and allow them the opportunity to have all of their questions answered and allay their pre-event nerves. At just £15.00 per session (£25.00 for both sessions) the benefit far outweighs the cost.
A fantastic amount of children have already signed up for these sessions, so remaining places are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
On the same day, we will also be running a comprehensive triathlon training session for adults at Hever Castle. This session is perfect for novice triathletes and includes:
The price for the adult half day sessions is £65 and can be booked here.
